As part of the studio’s practice, we also tend to a small apiary.

Our beekeeping practice is bee-centric, meaning the wellbeing of our bees is prioritised over beeswax and/or honey.

As such, we source beeswax from our hives when appropriate, allowing the bees to reuse the wax they have created for as long as possible and supplement the rest of our beeswax needs with beeswax from other local beekeepers in our community who follow the same principles.

A portion of candle sales goes back into our apiary to continue to support and grow the honey bee population.
